Ravishing Refried Beans

Ingredients
| 2-3 | cloves | garlic, minced | |

| 2 | teaspoons | canola oil or vegetable oil | |

| 1-1/2 | cups | black beans, cooked (including 1/2 cup of cooking liquid or bean juice) | |

| 1/2 | cup | water | |
|
|
|||
| salt and pepper to taste | |||

|||
| 2-3 | tablespoons | chopped cilantro | |
|
|
|||
| Sour cream | |||
|

|||
Directions:
In a deep medium skillet on medium heat, cook garlic in canola oil or vegetable oil about 1 minute. Add cooked black beans; mash with potato masher to a course puree. Stir in enough water to make a creamy consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with fresh cilantro.
